PHOENIX, Ariz. – November 15, 2011 – IO, announced today that it has contracted with Binary Pulse, LLC, a private cloud and IT solutions provider, to provide IO Anywhere® modular data center services.
“IO’s modular data center platform allows us to only buy what we require to eliminate over provisioning and significantly reduce total cost of ownership” stated Brant Roberts, CEO of Binary Pulse.
Binary Pulse will utilize IO’s state-of-the art environment to ensure its professional IT services, private cloud solutions, and physical and virtual hosting services are always available.
As a “Data Center as a Service” (DCaaSTM), IO’s modular data center product, IO Anywhere®, has been a pioneering venture. While launched in late July, 2010, to-date IO has 35 customers now using the IO Anywhere® modular data center platform. There have been 41 modules deployed between the IO New Jersey and IO Phoenix data centers, with each module supplying up to 18 cabinets of server space. Two to three modules are produced per week at the IO factory in Phoenix, with five assembly lines capable of producing 800-1,000 modules per year at full production.
