4Service Inc. is a company headquartered in Sherman Oaks, CA, and that offers three core product solutions: cloud computing, disaster recovery and offsite data backup.

4Service’s cloud computing solution is a somewhat separate product that has been branded with its own website www.4servicecloud.com and company name, 4Service Cloud, Inc., and is linked to straight from the www.4service.com website top navigation.  It appears that 4Service has wanted to develop their cloud product separately from their pricipal offerings of disaster recovery and data storage / offsite backup solutions.

4Service has a disaster recovery solution and a offsite data storage product as well.  Their disaster recovery product encompasses their offsite data storage solution in addition to other services.

The Tough Questions:

Why would 4Service create a separate company just for their cloud product?  It’s not a bad idea, but it leaves one to wonder about what 4Service Inc. will look like down the road.

It says on the 4Service website that their offsite data storage facility is located in Agoura Hills, CA with additional facilities in Las Vegas, NV and St. Louis, MO.  What are the ratings of those facilities?  How secure are they? Have any of those facilities experienced down time due to human error or natural disasters?
