100TB Update

July 24th, 2012 | Posted by admin in 100TB

In May 2012, 100TB announced that they were extending their hosting services reach to
include Southeast Asia in the countries that they cover. Not only does this give potential
users in that region another hosting leader to choose from, but it also creates a promising
scenario for consumers, as the increased competition can lower prices in the entire area.

As a result of their planned expansion, 100TB increased their network facilities in the
area by forming a partnership with SoftLayer, who already have a major hosting presence
in much of Asia.

100TB has placed a strong emphasis on international growth in recent years so its not
surprising to see them finally expand to a rapidly growing Asian market, where demand
for hosting and cloud computing services continues to rise exponentially.

Thomas Hancock, 100TB’s Managing Director, recently spoke about the company’s
growth
by stating “The addition of our new data center in Singapore demonstrates our
commitment in making high bandwidth (Web) hosting solutions available to every corner
of the market”

Additionally, on June 26th, 100TB announced an incredible $225 payout for affiliate sales. This is worth watching to see what happens in the industry with their affiliate commissions.
